Situated on the Trinity River at the intersection of California Highway 299 and 96, Willow Creek is a typical small town with lots of hidden treasures.
Visit the river at Kimtu Beach or Creekside Park. Picnic under the trees at Veterans park while the kids play on the climbing structures or Fido gets to stretch her legs.
Visit Willow Creek-China Flat Museum and learn about our rich mining and logging history or the myth of Bigfoot.
Grab a coffee, a burger or lunch at one of the cafes or pick up camping supplies in town.
Visit our Information Booth or the Ranger station to learn about the best places to hike, camp or fish. For there more adventurous there is always lots of river rafting at all different levels. Let an experienced guide bring you through the rapids or paddle a family down in mellower waters.
For wine lovers, we have tasting rooms and vineyard tours.
Accommodations range from camping and RV parks to motels and upscale cabins, cottages, and lodges.
Last but not least we have some of the most scenic highways in Northern California so avoid the crowded highways, get off the beaten track and discover Eastern Humboldt County.
